How to use easyfundraising
The Lunsar Cycling Team has found a new quick and easy way for our UK fans to support the team and help grow African cycling. This is thanks to the UK’s biggest charity fundraising site easyfundraising, that we now have a profile on.

What is easyfundraising?
Easyfundraising is a charity fundraising site that is both simple to use and totally free. And with over 4,063 retailers to choose from, you can support Lunsar Cycling team almost on a daily basis. The likes of Ebay, John Lewis, Argos, Amazon, M&S, Sainsbury’s, Aviva, asos, Tesco and many more are all partners. So, when you’re ordering presents or planning future parties, you can also help grow our team and say that you support African Cycling.
How does it work?
The process is quick and easy. Simply choose a cause to support, and then visit your favourite retailers through the easyfundraising website. From there, you just shop as you would. Once you have made your purchase, no matter how big or small, the retailer will make a donation to your supported cause.
This sounds great! How can I start helping the Lunsar Cycling Team?
Step one – Make an account. You can sign up with your apple, Facebook or email account.
Step two – Visit our cause page and click ‘Support Lunsar Cycling Team’.
From there, visit the 'Shop to raise' tab on the easyfundraising website (it’s in the top-left) and browse the frankly staggering number of options, from Amazon to Debenhams, eBay to Argos, Booking.com to Virgin Atlantic. Click through to the retailer and shop as you normally would.
Once you have made your purchase, no matter how big or small, the retailer will make a donation to our cause. Typically this is between 1% and 5% of what you spend.
Step three – If you like you can add a donation reminder so that you never miss a chance to make your shopping into a donation.
It’s as easy as that to support the Lunsar Cycling Team every time you shop online.
What we use your donations for
Our main expenditures are our travel to races and race fees, feeding our riders and organisation of training sessions. Every penny of your donations through easyfundraising will help go towards these things. Just think, every time you use the site you are helping to send our riders to races, helping to pay their race fees, feed them and help us put on organised training sessions for them. As a result, it won’t be long before you see riders from Sierra Leone at big races. You can sit back and comfortably say: “I helped to do that.”
